While we are languidly (yes, it has come to that..) awaiting more official news, let’s enjoy the emotional pleasure this brings. May you all be waiting in peace. Like me. *dies* Thank you mareecanto for this dynamite Fan-made Trailer.
If you are banging your head against the nearest portal, as I am, you may want to entertain a new theory. This was brought to me by Mr. CityofBonesMovie.com from ‘the other side of the bed’ last night. (and yes, if you must know, I was pouting about no official word! You were too and you know it!!) Right now Alex Pettyfer is busy promoting ‘I Am Number Four’, set to release Feb.18th. (the trailer is AWESOME) He is making appearances, interviews and visits with the press as it is crunch time to wind up for this movie. Would it really be wise, and in the best interest of this film, or his professionalism to start promoting something else? Say ‘Mortal Instruments’? It would seem a bit classless and would not bode well for his career’s future, I don’t think. It could be a stretch, but this thought is making me feel better right now. So I thought I’d pass it on. Anyone know when the promo ends for ‘I Am Number Four’?
Prescription: Watch Trailer 3 times daily to relieve angst for Screen Gems Production of ‘Mortal Instruments’. Thank you TerriJenZo for sharing your incredible talent with this fan-made trailer!! I will be watching it every hour, morning/noon/night, after every 10,000 breaths, and then it will be on an ‘as needed’ basis after that. It’s AWESOME! Get’s me uber-excited for the real thing!!!
Lily Collins latest, ‘Priest’ , is made by Screen Gems who are consequently making ‘City of Bones’. Set to hit theatres 5/13, Priest was directed by Scott Stewart , also set to direct ‘City of Bones’, and became the unofficial audition for Collins to land the role of Clary Fray. This looks deep, and the visual effects complex. I can see the darker scenes of ‘Mortal Instruments’ in some of this trailer. You? PS Holy Priest! Lily can scream!!!

The CoFA trailer shoot this week has been manna from the Gods. Am I right? It is EXACTLY what we need to tide us over…for now. I cannot say thank you enough to Cassie Clare for passing these images through Twitter, and a HUGE thanks to @reverieBR for executing the entire project!!!

Do not be confused with The Mortal Instruments Movie, City of Bones, in pre-production with Screen Gems right now. It is still in the process of casting, only Lily Collins (as Clary Fray) is official so far. This Hollywood production will be out 2012. Right now there is a Book Trailer being shot by Vania (@reveriBR) for the upcoming release of Cassie Clare’s newest book City of Fallen Angels. This book is number 4 in The Mortal Instruments series. Most of the updates on this shoot are coming via Twitter and from one fan to another: I am stinkin’ excited for this trailer!!! It’s an outlet for my Hollywood Movie excitement. (Since we have to wait so very long to even hear who the cast will be Here are the latest pic’s shared via Twitter:

While we anticipate new Cast members for City of Bones, I thought I’d help pass the agonizing seconds one by every excruciating one time. This is one of many amazing fan-made City of Bones Movie Trailers. Thank you BlacksGodDaughter, this is one of my top favorites. It has shorter clips, but it keeps it moving and they all work SO well together. Looks like the real deal to me. (And yes, I will be posting a ton more of these…keep checking, maybe we’ll vote on ‘em!)
