'City of Bones' Soundtrack Suggestion Clarity by Zedd

This song reminded me of Jace and Clary the first time I heard it probably a month or so ago now.  The words kept haunting me. When you listen to the words it can be either Clary to Jace or Jace to Clary.  The lyrics that stick out the most to me are the chorus, If our love is tragedy why are you my remedy, if our love is insanity why are you my Clarity? And of course you are a the piece of me I wish I didn’t need.. I think more Jace to Clary!

I thought it would be a great song to play while the credits roll for City of Bones, an upbeat song to listen to as you walk out of the theater.  I mentioned it to Jody weeks and weeks ago but she must have gotten busy.  I kept going back and forth on it myself because it’s so poppy and light and this crowd tends to like the darker stuff!

Okay guess who is flipping out ME!!!!  City of Ashes has been green lit.  It comes straight from Executive Producer Martin Moszkowicz

For you music enthusiast I found a great music app!  You may already now about this app, but I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!  I found many playlist that fans of the books have made, and I think it is another great way to connect with other fans of the books. It has a search engine and I just plugged in Mortal Instruments or Infernal Devices and it pulled up many fan mixes.   It let’s you follow others comments, ect.   I have two playlists on their called Ultimate Mortal Instruments and Ultimate Infernal Devices.  I encourage you all to try it out.  You can find me under user name: Shadowhunterradio.

This song is so amazing for Clary!  It sums up her whole story I think.  Who she is and what she becomes!!!  Mikky Ekko is the artist,  his voice really reminds me of Radiohead!  What do you all think  SUPER ANTHEM FOR CLARY?  You can check out his site here.  He sang with Rihanna on the grammy’s.

REPUBLIC RECORDS and CONSTANTIN FILM have partnered to release the official soundtrack album for “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” on August 20th, 2013. So excited about this news.  Can’t wait to see who will be on the album.

Shadowhunter Radio Song: Torture by Les Friction

I thought this song was kind of amazing when I listened to it.  It really reminded me of Valentine and Jace’s relationship in the books.  The video pictures are not exactly what I would like to see but I thought the lyrics and the song were amazing.  It gives the impression of an EPIC sound, which I have always envisioned for this movie.   Please tell me what you all think!  I couldn’t find just a lyric video with no pictures.  This is a press release on what they are saying about this group.

Shadowhunter Radio song of week in honor of Robert's B-day: Vampire by People in Planes

 

In honor of Robert’s Birthday I had to put this song up for our BELOVED SIMON!!!  He is going to be so good especially when he is turned into a vampire!!!  I added a few more graphics to this pic that nikola-nickart did make sure you go look at the original he does awesome posters!  I thought this song was so kick ass it is by People in Planes check them out here.  I totally love their sound!!!  Hope you all like it, let me hear in the comments!!!

Song for the Weekend..Maroon 5 'Daylight'

Heard this song and of course it made me think of Jace and Clary in Idris. Jace knows that in the morning he will head out to find Valentine in City of Glass.
