Breathe in…..breathe out. All is well. (remember JCB told us???) Lily Collins is in EARLY TALKS for the movie ‘Rosaline’. A remake of Shakespeare’s classic Romeo & Juliet. If you haven’t been around for awhile….and trust me, it’s been awhile…then you would know that this movie has been trying to get off the ground for longer than ‘Mortal Instruments’!!! In fact, Lily was slated for it like a year ago! I know, it’s a dinosaur right? That said, it may or may not film sooner. No one who knows that information is talking right now.
Just rely on this: as per Jamie Campbell Bower, Lily Collins, Marlene King and Cassandra Clare: The Mortal Instruments is a go. IF Lily decides to take this role, I’m positive it will be negotiated around her TMI schedule. Do I need to remind you how many “IF’s” there are involved in this whole scenario??? Not enough in the world…..

Moreover, Collins, with her glamorous looks and seemingly effortless grace, could be a nice foil to Woll, who has established a keen ability for playing gorgeous yet gawky and loveable underdogs. Additionally, this could be a good opportunity for the Abduction star to explore her comedic talents, rather than taking on another dramatic role. “

I think it will start sooner. If casting is truly done by March….well, we all saw what ‘Hunger Games’ pulled off. Not to mention that Scott Charles Stewart has already worked renderings for the film. Just sayin’.

And now Marlene King (the re-writer of the ‘Mortal Instruments’ screenplay is announcing she has exciting news CONCERNING the ‘Mortal Instruments’…..HALLAHHHHHH!!! Our day is here guys. - First of all, if you follow both The Mortal Instruments andThe Infernal Devices, the cover for ‘City of Lost Souls’ will be revealed in January. That will be our first 2012 news to look forward to. Maybe it will give away something about where the plot is going but knowing Clare it will probably only make us guess more.
- Of course, with the news that the studio is working on a script for the first Infernal Devices film, director and casting news could follow this year.
- ‘City of Lost Souls’ debuts in May. It will be embargoed, meaning no advanced copies so there will be no online reviews. However, I know there will be an extensive marketing plan and I’m sure trailers.”

Of course, we are all on pins and needles about movie news. This could continue to move slow or pick up speed at anytime.
Ouch. I know, I’m hurting too. Not exactly what we were uber excited about. I just hope there is only 1/2 truth to the movie news….that it SPEEDS up. In fact, I am actually going to go out on a limb and say it will. The revisions on the script were thoroughly worked through and is now fixed. Approval has been dragging because of the holidays (IMHO). Everyone will be getting back to work this week and in a serious “beat last years numbers” sort of way. Things will roll….bet with me peeps!
So is seems we have a rumored Alec contender in our midst. Let’s not jump the gun but I think we can all remember back to the rumored Jace contenders not too long ago and one of the three was picked! So let’s see what happens on this one.
I’ll be honest folks, there was not a lot of info out there on this guy. IMDB did not hold much info and google images was a ghost town. I did however find him singing this tune on YouTube. He has a beautiful voice I will give him that. And I think from what I can see on this footage he’s very cute!
So lets hold our breath and see how this turns out……(face turning purple…)
This was a mere TIP, from a NON-REPUTABLE source. (Had to get that out) So here we are merely SPECULATING that Evanescence would be a fantastic fit for the ‘Mortal Instruments’ Soundtrack. There is so much to be done between now and a soundtrack, that this is a mere thought. HOWEVER, Scott Charles Stewart, the Director, is a fan of the group.
This song, ‘Imaginary’, would be rock solid for Clary’s voice. Do you agree? What do you think?

That was the world’s fastest rumor mill. Probably because it was such a lame one. Taylor recently posed for a video promotion wearing a gold wedding band….because his character was married. Oh my. We really do need to find better news universe, this is a sad commentary on our reaching abilities.
