Best known until now as a vampire in BBC TV series Being Human, Turner will turn werewolf for The Mortal Instruments.
Well I think it is very impressive that we have two of the five people the Herald Sun listed as Top Acting Talent toWatch in 2013!! The more exposure Mortal Instruments gets the better the buzz!! And in my opinion the better the buzz the better our chances for sequels

This is a hidden little interview done a few weeks ago by Daily Record in the UK. Jamie talks about Harry Potter, Twilight, Camelot and Anonymous. Then there was this part about his childhood:
“”I always wanted to be the centre of attention,” he admitted. “My mum tells me that I interrupted one of her dinner parties because no one was listening to me. I got up on her table, dropped my pants and mooned everyone.”
Jamie is clearly a popular new face on the movie scene and he’s set to be a huge household name once Mortal Instruments comes out next year.
Like Twilight and Harry Potter, it’s based on supernatural books, with Jamie the demon-fighter Jace, who falls for mortal teenager Lily Collins.
“This was a big deal for me,” said Jamie. “To put their trust in me and give me that role is very humbling.”"
How funny is that? I was laughing so hard when the article went on to say “Jamie’s bare bottom has been making a comeback lately – ” Hee!
I had to add the portion about ‘Mortal Instruments even though we’ve heard it before. I also believe someone should inform these peeps that Clary is not just a ‘mortal teenager’….what the frack?
“So apparently, on a free night away from shooting Roland Emmerich’s Anonymous in Berlin last year, Xavier Samuel decided to go out to a club with his brother, Benedict, who was in town from Sydney. Samuel was hoping to remain unnoticed, but alas, it was not to be– but not for reasons you’d expect. Samuel recounted, “We walked up to the door of one bar, and people started screaming at my brother: ‘Jamie! Jamie! Jamie!’”
In a strange twist of irony, the crowd had mistaken Benedict for Jamie Campbell Bower, Samuel’s Anonymous costar. Even worse? The next day, newspapers boasted pictures of Benedict-as-Jamie “and friend.”
Oops. Awkward much?”
Okay so how funny is it that this happened to Xavier Samuel!! The Jamie frenzy is building and it’s only going to get worse!
This is a flipping long interview, but I actually made it through. (Says a lot when you have flighty attention spans like me).Rhys: I love you man, but you need to shut the hole in your face. I really do love you…just want to hear more JCB. The remaining spans of Jamie Campbell Bower?? LOVE them! My favorite is his laugh….he even gets a snort out there towards the end. His laugh really is contagious. When he talked about the papparazzi not a problem in his life, all I could think of was ” …you just wait my friend, TMI is going stalk you bad!!!”
I was a very good JCB supporter last night and I went to see Anonymous. Interesting premise and of course I wanted to see Jamie in action. I don’t want to give anything away so I will leave you with this….
Although Jamie’s part was small and he did not have as much screen time as I would like, he lit up the screen when he was on it! His face is beautiful and angelic to look at in this film. And his acting was spot on! When he was cocky I felt it, when he was seductive, I felt it and when he was sad or angry I felt that even more. He has the acting ability to deliver the goods where Jace is concerned, and this role showed me that in spades! He definitely has the “it” factor even if everyone doesn’t quite see it yet!
So thumbs up for Anonymous and two thumbs way up for Jamie!! Nice job well done!!!
Wow Jamie…theatricality has more syllables than you own hairbrushes!!! This is a fun interview, you can tell they have become good friends in making ‘Anonymous’. However, I would have liked to hear more from Jamie Campbell Bower. Shut it Rhys!!! Kidding. The interviewer could have given JCB more time. Just sayin.
There were a lot of pictures of him at this premiere I have chosen the ones that to me look most like Jace..or at least the promise of “Jaceness” somewhere in the future.. Jamie did wear the skinny jeans (which is a no no) but the upper part of him rocked it!!
