Well shadowhunters the results are in and Catching Fire came out on top. According to MTV they lead by 100,000 votes which MTV referred to as a “narrow victory”, didn’t seem narrow to me?
I am sure the tributes are all thrilled, as they should be. It is quite an honor for their franchise and fandom. I am sure we will have plenty more opportunities to shine in the years to come!

In closing shadowhunters, when you come acrossed a THG fan, congratulate them as you would want them to do for you if we won. No sour grapes…there is room for everyone to enjoy their time in the sun!

With 10 million votes, TMI technically only lost by one percent of the votes. So technically it was a narrow victory.
I could not be any more proud as I am right now because we tried guys, we really did. And we even got a shout out from MTV! “The strong showing from the Shadowhunters proved that the YA adaptation is a force to be reckoned with,” we are awesome guys
Jennifer Lawrence is all over the media this month and has won three awards in the last two weeks (SAG, Critics Choice and Golden Globes). It looks like an Oscar is in her future too!

I love Jennifer Lawrence, she is beautiful, and she’s also very smart. I don’t care what anyone says she is the perfect Katniss. I pictured her just a little bit differently, but not much different from Jennifer, and her acting is great.
Our movie is neck at neck with THG so it’s going to be a competition, much like how Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings when they came out around the same time.
*psst* everyone thinks it was Twilight VS HP but that is NO WAY at all how it goes! LOL it was LOTR Vs. HP Twilight came out when there were only 2(aka 3) movies of HP left. It doesn’t add up. lol
although it was not one of my favorite movies her performance as Katniss was exellent. When she offers herself as tribute I got choked up all the way through the goodbye sequence. She is a great actress.

Oh well, we tried! At least we came in second to a major phenomenon. The Mortal Insruments has a long road of excitement and success to enjoy! Can’t wait for it!!!
