[...] Collins’ & Jamie Campbell Bower’s New Ink Fans of The Mortal Instruments have been suggesting that Lil’s flower(?) and JCB’s “Always and Forever 1989″ may be related. [...]
What does lily’s say does it say always and forever. i can’t see it that well?????
You know what it is? They have more than enough money to remove them. Yeah removing tattoos are apparently very painful. And especially because I think you have to go more than once just for one tattoo before it’s fully removed. But none of us can afford that. It is pretty dam expensive to remove tattoos, so we’re much more responsible about it? I guess? I know I am the last person to be making this assumption, but like I said I was a teenager with my first one, and that was stupid all in itself. I don’t do that anymore. So… Yeah… get all of the bad tattoos you want, cause unlike us, you guys have all the money to remove them… thanks. lol
Just so you all know it is nice for us staff to actually see comments from you all! We have missed our fans!
Those tats look stupid & yeah Immature they barely know each other really? worse then rob & kristen & I actually like Lily & Jamie. Also i think while Jamie isn’t the hottest guy on earth(wish he was)he has a certain charm that for me covers his big forehead & spaced out eyes lol.
Jamie is odd looking but is it so wrong to love him hm..guess it doesn’t really matter.
P.S I wanted to say hello to JoshQ & Andy & Scrottie & Of course Jersey! This is my first time commenting on this site.
Ok know I’m done.
HI!!!!
lol. I don’t know why i liked getting a shout out for no reason, but hey. lol
but just for ya information. I don’t think anybody is ripping on Jamie, it’s just a really immature thing to get names of your girlfriend or boyfriend as tattoos. I did it once…. yeah….. I too am an immature jerk. LOL but I guess that’s what happens when you let your teenagers get tattoos. No that I am blaming my mom 100%, I have just learned not to let my kids do it til they’re 18. Not that anyone is all wise and all knowing at 18. lol. But it’s better than being 15. I think we think at least a little clearer when we’re a little older. By the time I was 19, I started to take a deeper consideration in my tats. But that’s just me. I know people who are 50, who’ve had names going down their arms, and some of them are crossed out!! Yeah… talk about immaturity, right???? Even I wouldn’t be that dumb. haha
Tattoos are such an in-thing right now. It kind of annoys me. I don’t have any, lol. And I was raised kind of strict on personal values. I broke some of my upbringing by smoking weed, or going to college parties, but for some reason I fins absolutely no reason to get a tattoo. And I don’t think against anyone who has any, I just find it to be annoying over popular. I have friends who are hardcore metal heads, or their families are like giant biker families, and they kind of get annoyed when a girl like lilly comes around and shows off her only tattoo that resides on her ankle. Because they feel that most people just do it because so many people do it, and I have to agree to some extent. I lectured a girl about it once. She thought I was being mean, but I was being truly sincere. I asked her WHY she got the tattoo, and at first she just argued with me, but finally she said that she just wanted to try it, because so many of her chick friends had done it and swore it didn’t hurt… or something like that… lol.
HI!!!! WELCOME TO THE COMMENTS!!!! lol
And Andy is soooo right. Some people don’t ever grow up. Age isn’t always an issue. But I disagree with you Josh… just a little bit. I think the reason it is so popular now, is because more people are becoming brave enough to do it. Not just because they want to see if they can handle the pain, for other reasons too. So many conservative people are against it, so their kids grow up SAYING their against it, but deep down are very curious. They don’t ever do it, because parents get mad and blah blah blah. Well, the more people around you who become brave enough to do it, the more it tends to rub off on you.
For me, when I was a kid my mom was soooo against it, because job offers are slimmer, and you tend to get judged more. And for the most part I agreed…. but that was back when I was 12… lol. I got a little older, and I started to become my own person, so I wanted to try it more and more. Mom told me I had to wait till I was 18. My brother did my first one for free, and I’ve been addicted ever since. LOL. I didn’t have very many friends who had tattoos at the time, my curiosity was more ME. And I come from two different types of families in ONE. lol. MY grandparents, my Aunt, and my mother are very conservative about the subject. My Uncles, and their friends are only ten years older than me, and they were ALL a big part of my life as a kid, and they all were heavily tattooed guys, gauged ears, heavy earrings, pierced nipples. So I grew up with two sides of a spectrum in my family LOL
So I guess upbringing has a lot to do with it on MANY levels. But I do think you have a point. I do think you have some people…. mostly girls who are like
“I wanna tattoo, I wanna tattoo…. *cries heavily*….. it hurt sooooooooo baaaaaaaaad” hahaha.
Yeah me and my friend Justine, who are both pretty punk get very amused by girls like that. LOL. Some of mine hurt, but I took it like a champ! Didn’t cry, didn’t even flinch.
You make a good point. There was a time when ONLY bikers, Punks, or War Veterans would have tattoos. Basically the tough men of society had tattoos. If a war veteran had it, it was to show what he’s been through. Anyone else’s intent was to show that they were rebels of society. So yeah, I see what you’re saying. Girls never got marked, and if you did, you were considered a juvenile outlaw (male or female). So I guess the more society became more open minded the more people realizing that not all Bikers were these dangerous crazy people, and not all Punks were rebels, the more people realized that getting a tattoo wasn’t so bad. LIke back when there was absolutely no tolerance for homosexuality, when more and more came out about it, I think even more did because it gave them hope. Sort of the same thing.
So now everyone is curious about tattoos. So I actually agree with you to some extent. But I still think it’s overly popular, and too many people do it just because. Which is why it’s mostly those ones who get pretty lame tattoos like Lilly and Jamie here. As for pain; I’ve heard from so many different people that it depends on where you place the tattoo, and it also depends on you as a person. It seems as though that true ink lovers are either like you, who just take the pain, or they don’t really get to phased by it.
P.S. I have seen so many Actors tattoos, and I almost hate all of their tattoos. I think Johnny Depp has the best so far. But that’s why I think some people only do it for popularity… cause MOST of these guys have very lame…. very VERY lame tattoos. I’ve seen nicer ones on BIkers, Metal Heads, and Punks… Oh well lol
Yah welcome! Please comment away that’s what we love!! it’s been dull as tombs around here!! Glad to hear from you
Wow…. real mature of them….. haha
We don’t know if that’s really the case, we can’t even read Lilly’s. If it says 1988, or something that seems to tie with Jamie, than I am sure it is what we think it is, but I am not positive if it’s really the case. millions of people were born in 1989, including myself LOL. For all we know the tattoo could represent me? lol jk. But yeah if it is related to their relationship, than yes, I agree. Immature…
Hey you welcome back.
Don’t like his tattoo. It’s too big and he has a history of getting tattoos for his girlfriend’s so I don’t think it is particularly sweet. Can’t see Lily’s tattoo too well which is a good thing because at least she was smart enough to get a small one that can be easily obscured.
Agreed. Inking your bodies with tattoos of your gf/bf’s name, DOB, etc is so dumb. Don’t people ever learn??? What will happen when they break up? I’ve heard that removing tattoos is MORE painful than getting one.
It is. MOST tattoo artists will even try and talk you out of it. I know people who have 20 or more tatts who think it’s dumb. It is. If it is even what we all think it is, it may not be. I am picky about what I get WITHOUT someone’s name. I plan on having my whole arm inked, but not with my BF or even my best friend’s name who’ve I’ve known my whole life, and I am God parent to her son. I STILL wouldn’t even put her name on me. My children’s names, yeah. I am okay with that, my dog even, but boyfriends??? lol. If God gave me a vision that we would be together forever, I still wouldn’t do it. There are NICER inks than someone’s name….
i meant to say he may have got it after the movie finished shooting and that I like his tatoo
I love it!
Ew. How’s he going to cover up that ghastly tattoo for the next movie???
hey may have gotten it after and I like the movie. also there’s cgi and airbrushing
I’m talking about City of Ashes.
Actually more actors have more tattoos than you realize. They cover them up a lot. It’s not really THAT difficult to cover them up. I mean, it’s still time consuming, but it’s not one of the most difficult things they do with make up. So that’s not even my concern. I don’t care about the movie, it is SO easily covered. It’s just that if it IS about Lilly, whom they haven’t even been together that long, that’s just… well… not to sound judgmental at all, but….. immature……
I like their tatoos and the are ways they can obsure. I think it’s sweet and lily’s 1989 forever tatoo or whatever like has special meaning for her . I love these two. I wish I could get an actual tatoo but certain circumstances prevent me from doing so. maybe i will in a few years. though I’d probably remove it before i get too too old. to prevent it from being unattractive looking when i’m 80. and i’m beyond thrilled that the mortal instruments movie series is finally happening.
also, pretty soon, they’d be together for half a year
Okay, not to sound like a real jerk, or to be opinionated, but please don’t ever get a tattoo. This only supports my theory a few comments up…. you are only getting a tattoo because others are doing it. People who are covered from head to toe in tattoos think that getting a tattoo related to your boyfriend and/or girlfriend is extremely immature. If you break up, you stuck with that permanent tattoo. And if you break up on REALLY bad terms you are stuck staring at something that looks ugly to you now.
Just the part alone, when you said,
“I’d probably remove it before i get too too old. to prevent it from being unattractive looking when i’m 80.”
One, if that sentence isn’t naive I don’t know what is. Two, Do you know how much it costs to remove a tattoo? Do you know how painful it is to remove it? Do you know about the horrific scars it leaves behind when you get them removed? Not all tattoos can be FULLY removed. depends on how deep the artist decided to impress the ink into your skin. The reason why celebrities can remove tattoos is because they are MORE than packing enough money to get it done- to be on enough pills to withstand the pain (enough pills for them to be drooling on themselves for a month), AND to get plastic surgery to hide the scars. If you have the money to burn, then fine. Be my guest. Get crap tattoos, and then spend thousands of dollars to remove them and get plastic surgery to cover it.
It will possibly cost you between 100 to 400 dollars to get a tattoo, depending on the size, the detail, the time it takes to get it done, where you get it done, and who does it. It will cost you pretty much the same to remove it…. sound like a wast of a crap ton of money to me… Not to mention the pain is ten times more when getting it removed, than getting it put on you. You have to go more than once to get it removed and depending on where you place the tattoo, how large the tattoo is, or how detailed or what needle the person used on you… it might not even come completely off. And it will scar terribly.
So talk about “”I’d probably remove it before i get too too old. to prevent it from being unattractive looking when i’m 80.”
WE’RE ALL UNATTRACTIVE WHEN WE’RE 80!!!! So the spot where you removed the tattoo will look unattractive before you even get old. NOT to mention, any TRUE ink lovers would probably freak the hell out on you for that sentence. I mean the way they feel is ALL over the internet. How do you not know about this?

Even if they get a tattoo that wasn’t well done, they will take it to someone else to fix it. TRUE Ink lovers, don’t say what you just said. They refuse to let go of their tats, they will find a way to fix them. But EVEN THEY don’t put any tattoos that represent their boyfriends or girlfriends. EVEN IF THEY’VE BEEN TOGETHER OVER 25 YEARS!!!! They don’t do it!!!!! And since when does being with someone for a YEAR translates to being with someone for 10 years????? A year might as well be 3 weeks. I hope to GOD you are a kid, a teenager, or something, because you should NOT be an adult with that idea of relationships. Coming from a guy, don’t just BELIEVE anything a guy tells you. The only thing on our minds 95% of the time is sex sex sex sex sex sex… So I think it is rather sad that these people who LOOK like juvenile delinquents are more mature about what they PERMANENTLY put on their body more than you who doesn’t have anything on your body.
I suggest you read this article. DO YOUR RESEARCH before jumping to almost ANYTHING!!!

In my conclusion of my argument. Due to your statement I don’t think you are ready for any tattoo. I’m sorry a head of time if I come off as mean in any way, but I am only telling you this because you obviously don’t have much information on tattoos. Your statement came off as incredibly naive. And that’s coming from me who doesn’t have ANY ink done. I have thought about it, quite often, but the truth is…. I can’t really think of anything that represents anything I love to permanently draw on my body. In my far future, if I have children, that is the ONLY thing I can think of that I may get a tattoo for. My son or daughter’s names, or faces or something. But for now, there is nothing I want. PLUS Like I said a few comments up, tattoos are the “In-thing” right now, and so many people do it, just because others are doing it. And I rather not join the crowd, I rather be a part of my own. So maybe I’ll get one when the popularity of it dies down a bit, which to be honest…. I don’t know if that’ll happen. So again, I am sorry if I come off as mean, but this is pretty much how I will lecture my future kids about tattoos, and I probably will be mean to them about it too, because…. well… I am just trying to be informative. So again I am sorry, but you need to take what I have said into consideration before EVER even THINKING of getting a tattoo…
I’m sorry, but I’m siding with Josh on this one. My Aunt and her boyfriend got ankle tattoos that represented each other… You know what happened to them as a couple? Well, let me tell you…..
He began abusing her… Physically. One day he was strangling her, and you want to know the only way they got him off of her? My 14 year old cousin had to hit him over the head with a baseball bat…. Here’s the irony of it… When they first got together i was 10, this was before the abuse… As a ten year old I said to them… “What if something goes wrong and you two dont work out?” Needless to say my Aunt hates that tattoo now, she got it redon so now it looks different… So… Yeah… Tattoos of your boyfriend or girlfriend = BAD idea….
Isn’t 1989 Lily’s year of birth?
