Jonathan Rhys Meyers Wraps Another Day on ‘Mortal Instruments’ Set in Toronto

Wicked, wicked Valentine!! Jonathan Rhys Meyers looks pretty tired to me as he heads home to his hotel in Toronto. Lucky fan (she’s adorbs) snags a pic in the lobby. There are also rumors of a mystery woman…..my oh my. Hey, Toronto is a beautiful place! I would’ve LOVED my hubs there with me :)

PS What are everyone’s thoughts on the facial hair? Scruffy Valentine?

I sincerely hope they try to stay true to the books because they are awesome…and in the book he has very light hair…..I don’t like the dark hair at all!

No I don’t like the facial hair I just always imagined Valentine clean shaven, maybe some stubble whenever he like loses his mind but otherwise clean. And I’m not cool with the dark hair hopefully they’re doing something with it like in editting or something.

He does look very tired and thin, needs a holiday in the sun and loads of good food. I like the facial hair it suits him.

I’m cool with the facial hair. My only issue is that his hair is black and for Sebastian/Jonathan issues – what are they going to do about that part of the series?

  • Carol

I like the facial hair, but I truly, honestly, strongly hope his hair won’t be this color in the movie. And that his eyes will be dark. I mean, sure, Jonathan would do a great Valentine no matter his looks, but can you guys really picture a dark-haired Valentine?

  • Looooove it! I just love everything about him facial hair or no facial hair <3
