I think the song “We Radiate” by Goldfrapp would be a good song for when Clary goes to the club at the begining of the movie. It sounds like a song that they could play at the club.

There are very cool songs (Shadowhunter worthy) by a new artist named Carmen l Miller on her site http://www.carmenmillermusic.com She has a track titled, Save Me that sounds like Jace coming to the rescue right on schedule!!

and wish you were her i feel mostly suits how clary feels when Jace is missing in city of lost souls
or maybe when mangus dumps Alec and how alec feels
and the best of me can be jace to clary in city of fallen angels and would fit the alley scene
and i can see dance with the devil playing in the club during city of lost souls when things are getting steamy and clary and Jace are high . i think part of the song could be Jace to clary and sesbation to clary and trying to tell her that her place is on their side and the dance part could be a metphaor for taking over the world
time is running out could Jace to sebastian when he’s tempoarily back to normal
and time of change would fit city of heavenly fire, with Jace, Clary, Isabelle, Simon, Alec and everyone to sebastion.

hooddo seems to fit how Jace feels about Clary and how he wants to keep her safe and protect her and other safe and do the right thing espially in city lost souls and i think it fits Simon too and how he do anything to keep Clary, Isabelle(with his new feelings for her) and even Jace and how he wants to save the world too..

I think that the film´s producers must be choice rock indie for the soundtrack and maybe some kind electronic music, bands like arthic monkies, muse, Franz Ferdinaz, Metric, The Killers and others.
Two songs are my favorites right now for the sountrack: WAVES by Metric (ahhhh they´re filming in Toronto) and Automatic systematic Habit by Garbage
i love Garbage and i love that song! this new ablum has renewed my love for them and it might fit the soundtrack but Jace doesn’t really lie for the most part but earler in books he did at times lie to keep Clary safe. but i think it might suit sorta of how Clary feels in city of glass and the situation of what they did is the kind of the dirty little secret of how they feel about each other and only certain people know(or it might suit city of ashes too). yeah i can see them doing indie and some electronic music too. I think both bands would be great for the soundtrack!
Actually, Shirley Manson in that song (Automatic systematic Habit) talks about be “The other woman” but we can modified the situation in our minds for city of Bones, describe perfectly the relationship between Jace and clary …I Think that Jace maybe a great great “Dirty LITTLE SECRET” and a guilty pleasure for everyone JA JA JA..kisses.

Just A Little Girl by Trading Yesterday -I don’t know if someone had already said this song, but anyway! I think is so Jace, principally in the part “you could never understand the demons that I face so go ahead and bat your eyes and lie right to the world for with everything you are, you’re just a little girl” Is just like if Jace was talking to Clary, about who she really is and all this shadowhunter world!
To go off toppic slightly, the video for Muse’s new song “Madness” is out and can I just say that it is so awesome! Love, love, love! Check it out!
I am in total agreement with any and all suggestions for Muse as they are my absolutely favorite band and all their songs are incredible! My favorite is “Map of the Problematique” which I would love to see in this movie because it is such an awesome song. I’d be surprised however if Muse did show up on the soundtrack as they were already on the first three Twilight ones. But I love them so much I may as well fantasize!
As for a band I could totally see on the soundtrack I have to nominate Yeasayer. They are from Brooklyn and they are really alternative and just radiate cool. They have a very unique sound that I think could totally fit with the tone of these books. Songs like “The Children”, “Madder Red” off their last album Odd Blood are really cool sounding in a creepy dark way which I love. I’ve just purchased their new album Fragrant World and there are several songs that I’m already loving like “Fingers Never Bleed”, “Longevity”, “Devil and the Deed”, “Demon Road”, and “Glass of the Microscope” are all amazingly cool tracks. The last song gives me the chills! I haven’t analyzed the lyrics for all their songs but their sound is so unusual, a mix of eery, sexy, and strange that I just love. And the fact that they are from New York I think helps make the case for them.
I also really love “Midnight City” by M83. It’s just such a cool sexy song and I think it would suit the movie.
I love that song and it would be cool maybe when Clary’s running to find her mom. I also think it fits the alley scene( and it would suit city of fallens angels, hopefully they adapt all of them in the alley and fits how Jace feels and Jordan about Maia)
also, frozen and deep frozen by delain i think would fit how clary is feeling when Jace is acting different and not telling clary why(and avoiding her for her safety) in city of fallen angels
the other side by evanescence i think fits how clary feels in city of lost souls and how clary wants to save jace
babylon by delain might also suit for possesed jace in cofls and fits in a sense what clary might say to jace
heavy rope by lights would fit in city of lost souls for how clary is feeling when jace is missing or for possesed jace
drive my soul by lights i think fits Clary’s and Jace’s relationship too or a element of their relationship
i think diablo swing orchestra, kobra and the lotus would be great too( and i think these bands might possibly have some songs that would fit tmi maybe no rest for the wicked by kobra and the lotus would fit sebastain
hungry lucy would be great too and collide.

i hope so too! i think it would be awesome if the soundtrack had a mxiture of genres. i mean how awesome would be if it had some metal, rock, punk, gothic music, some dance and alternative gothic dance music like EBM, future-pop(VNV nation is kind of future pop), electroindustrial, pop, maybe some house, country, maybe some jazz and had some mainstream and indie artists and artists from around the world. i wrote some songs inspired by tmi and am working on others.(i meant the lyrics) i’m not musically inclined but I’m good with writing. i need help figuring out harmonies. if there anyone’s who interested, that would be awesome!

murder never dead by seven kingdoms is a great song. i think it could fit when Jace is tempoarily back to himself in cofls and he is talking to Clary about the fake him and describes how he wants to free from all and wants to be with her when he’s himself. plus it might be good with the emotional reunion part and things get sensual between them

Awww it’s pandemonium on the soundtrack comments (no pun intended) I have my work cut out for me some of these i have heard others i haven’t . I would love to hear some new Indie artists suggested I have some in mind i will surprise u all later with those.

Starlight by Muse. it’s a great song and it fits Tmi where Jace’s and clary’s relatinoships comes into place and how he feels about her
Animal by Kristina Maria(i think it really suits city of lost souls and fits Jace and clary’s feelings for each other) i can picture it playing during the dirty sexy club scene!
also obession by mechanical moth suits well for that scene too(i think it switches between jace and clary’s feeling at that tiem during that steamy part of that chapter)
possibility by lykke li(it’s off the new moon soundtrack) but I think itd fit city of lost souls well when Jace is missing and it describes how Clary feels about it

Nickelback – I’d come for you. I think this really suits Jace and his feelings for Clary – how he’s never let anyone get too close to him before and how he’ll do anything for her.

I think the song that best fits City of Bones is Hero by Skillet. If you look at the lyrics and read city of bones it just fits perfectly. Especially for the shadowhunters

I love their songs, like you said most of them would fit the movie perfectly. Already Over is definately my favorite by them and I think it would sound amazing during a fighting scene!
