  I can understand why they used the shaky cam to be able to skim past some of the more violent scenes but I didn’t like it in the scenes of the Reeping. That’s where it bothered me the most. I thoght the start of the movie should have felt a bit calmer in an unnerving way. Like the calm before the storm. Loved the movie anyway. But I’m pretty sure I will love City of Bones more!!! Not to get too excited or anything!

  I just hope there isn’t too much of that hand held camera work that they used at the start of the Hunger Games. I loved the movie overall but that was so distracting. I want to be able to see the actors and the scenery a bit better. I am so looking forward to seeing the finished product next summer!

    It’s called “shaky cam” and the reason that it was used in the Hunger Games was 1) To avoid an R rating during the cornucopia and I believe the 2) reason was to give you an intense feeling of what Katniss is going through/what Katniss is seeing. I actually liked the Shaky Cam it added realism to the film.

      I personally hate shaky cam styles. It only works for certain kind of films. While I enjoyed the Hunger Games movie, the shaky cam really bothered my eyes an my eye sight is just fine. No issues, don’t need any glasses. I thought I was going to have a seizur during seeing the movie. Lol

  GOD! I see those monitors and my mouth waters, because I have yet to work with such equipment, when you just start out, you only have that small camera that you hold in your hand. You don’t have all this fancy shiz they have! They get to have more than one Camera position at once, while we beginners have to re-film a scene in different angles, before deciding with angle to edit out later. NOT that they don’t do that too, on some instances they do, but for the most part they have all this equipment to help save time, and money. Not that this equipment is cheap, but… mehhh you know what I mean. lol

  Can someone please tell someone to do something with jamie’s hair. i’m Sure they can fit in the budget. Oh and maybe some milkshakes, like everyday!!!!!!!!
