Knox College Master Pic Shows Full Institute Set Location for ‘Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ Movie

Just came across this pic of the entire Knox College Building used for the Institute scenes filmed last week. It’s definitely gorgeous and intimidating! Is this how you pictured the Institute? I’ve heard some fans say they pictured more of a church…to me, this is perfection. Sound off in the comments….which, btw, are empty *sadface*

WHERE IS EVERYONE? Are you really letting school get in the way of TMI?????? :)

Knox college doesn’t really look that intimidating close up, it’s actually really beautiful and I think it’ll make a perfect institute

Well, I mean, are they gonna do the glamour effect on it in the movie? Because if yes, they should have like an old dilapidated church over it

That’s awesome! I will admit that I did not picture the institute to be quite that grand. I don’t know why. I think that up close when you see alot of the architectural detail without the huge expanse it will look incredible. I think they are really doing an awesome job of capturing the feel of the books in this movie so far. Yay!

I never pictured it from far away, only up close, so I think thats why to me it isn’t exactly what I pictured, because it makes sense that it would look like this, bu I didn’t see it in my head when reading. Because I was always picturing it up close.
