Well the casting news is speeding up.. seeing as they start filming August 20th they should probably wrap things up. Born on March 11, 1958 he is 54 years old.
Which is fine because technically we should never really see him!!
But, he the most age appropriate cast member thus far.. ha ha ..had to throw that in there.

I looked at his resume, I actually haven’t seen most things he’s been in. I saw Silent Hill, which was pretty okay movie, but that’s it. I don’t like the Resident Evil movies so I made no attempt to see any of them after the second one came out. And everything else I just haven’t seen, so I guess I remember him from Silent Hill…
Die hard RE Game fan, then? I am! I HATE the Resident Evil movies. They screwed up the whole story, and the guy they got to play Chris was just… NOT Chris. I admit my curiosity got me to see the AfterLife 3D. which made me COMPLETELY cut all ties with the film. Did you know that they Brought Wesker into the film? Yeah they SCREWED UP his character BIG TIME!!! First off, the actor looked NOTHING like Albert Wesker, and acted NOTHING like Albert Wesker. The dude had a fake accent. Sometimes he sounded American, and then the next he would sound british… Like whaaaa???? Like there was one line he said, as simple as this “And I want damage reports.” The whole sentence was in an American accent until he said the word “Reports” Like… seriously? Could they have picked a worse actor??? I LOVED Wesker, he’s one of my favorite villains of all time and they ruined it. AfterLife even completely redid the end fighting scene with Wesker in RE5. You know, when Sheva and Chris get off the Elevator towards the end? Before you have to fight him on the air field. Yeah, they did that whole scene in the movie and it looked more fake then in the game!!!!!! Hated it hated it hated it hated it.

lol. I wouldn’t call myself a “Die Hard” Re Gamer. BUT I did enjoy the original games as much as the actual “Die Hard” fans do. I agree the films are terrible. The games are better, by a long shot!!! No, I did not even both to even look at previews for AfterLife 3D. I DID NOT know they brought on Wesker! And ya know, when I read your post about the Wesker Fight scene, and I decided to find it on YouTube, the film version was there too. So I decided to watch it. and You’re right… terrible. I can understand not getting a “Written” character exactly write from a book to a movie. But Wesker and Chris are already visual, they are only texts on a page. I didn’t even know they brought in Chris either. And you’re write Wentworth is NOT Chris Redfield. However, I did like Ali Larter as Clair, I saw glimpses of her. I know she looks nothing like Clair, but she pulled off the part pretty damn well. And since you didn’t bring up Clair, I assume you agree. But Wesker? I could NOT agree more, when I watched that scene, the guy playing him just DOES NOT do the character justice AT ALL!!!! And since these characters ARE visual how hard is it to just ACT completely like Wesker? The dude did a terrible job. I am no actor, but I am sure I could’ve done a much better job than him! lol I used to play Silent Hill when I was a kid. The movie wasn’t all bad. I enjoyed it, they could’ve not changed so much to the story of Alessa, but the movie was still pretty much like Silent Hill!

I was also annoyed that they had “Alice” kill wesker in the movie. It should’ve been Chris. He and Wesker have had it out since the very first game since 1997. wow 1997 feels like a million years ago. lol I was about 8 years old when I played the very first game… well… actually I watched my sitter play, and then tried to play but the game was WAY too hard for my level. lol so I died like 5 mins in. haha. So I didn’t play on my own till I was a little older. But I have been forever addicted to Zombies and RE games ever since. I am SO excited RE6. They’re bringing back the Zombies dude!!! As for Silent Hill I agree. In the game Dalia was the villain, there was no such thing as Christabella, and they didn’t burn Alessa because they thought she was sin incarnate it was because she had some sort of power, and they wanted to birth the devil through her or something. and the ritual required them to burn her or something like that. They were devil worshippers, not jesus freaks or whatever. But all in all the movie was pretty good. and I think what made it better was the fact they used the same music composer from the game. I LOVE the music from that game it’s so erie, creepy and sad. So I think that helped the atmosphere of the movie alot. I think they should’ve done the same with RE. OH and another thing that makes me angry about the Resident Evil Movies. Wesker NEVER mutated!!! Never!. He was the ONLY superhuman character in the games. The ONLY physical characteristic about him that was not human was his eyes, which he covered up all the time with the glasses. So what in the hells-bells was up with the tentacles coming out of his mouth!?!?!? Like whatever. And they killed him so easily in the movie, if it was THAT easy to kill him why did it take FIVE games total, OH and over 20 years all together?????? LOL and I HATED fighting him in RE5. he was a pain in the ass to kill!!!! LOL XP
Well.. it’s not that they were devil worshippers… well… they were… but they didn’t see it that way. They saw it as GOD, not the Devil, even though it WAS the devil. LOL. But yeah, you’re right. I personally don’t even remember Alessa being burned in the game, but it has been a really long time since I have played so my memory may be iffy. As for RE, yep, agree agree agree agree. I heard a rumor that Leon is supposed to be in the next film…. have you heard this? I don’t know why but Leon was always one of my favorite characters in the game. I think it’s because he is always so serious, he acts like he don’t give a sh*t, but really he cares immensely. It’s not he acts like that either. He just always looks so serious. lol. Anyways…. yeah I heard about RE6′ Zombies. A lot of people think the new game looks like it will be promising. I am sick of the Los Granados crap. BRING BACK ZOMBIES! LOLLOL. I haven’t had time for video games for so long. You’re making me miss it. LOL.
I heard the same thing, I even saw the actor whose going to portray Leon. I must say, I am not impressed already. Not that it matters, I wont see it after FOUR crappy movies, why would I see the fifth? And if I do… I wont pay for it… And Leon was my favorite character too, but mostly because I think he he is the hottest male character in the Game series. Hahaha~!
And he has that serious look about it which makes him all the hotter. haha. Yeah I was not thrilled with Wentworth as Chris. To be honest, now bare with me here, I can TOTALLY see Zac Efron as Chris, I think he needs to either be a little older, or they could use make up to make him look older. Cause Zac looks almost exactly like Chris from the earlier games when he was younger, AND even when Zac is not in any kind of character he seems to have a lot in common with Chris. What I like about Chris is the fact that he is a BIG guy but he has so much softness about him. And Zac carries the same appeal But that’s just me. I do like Ali Larter for Clair. I think Alice should be COMPLETELY excluded from the movies, since she DOES NOT exist int he games!!! How about Mila Kunis for Clair though? i like that idea. Leon and Wesker are hard, I would have to audition auditon audition audition audition like crazy, then make them audition while IN-Character, hair make up and everything. Cause I LOVE Leon’s signature hair style. He wouldn’t be Leon without it. LOL And whoever is the actor of both Leon and Wesker NEEDS to have the same voice as the characters THAT’S a MUST!!! I don’t want to hear that voice is not important. Uh… hello… it’s acting. I’ve already said this before, my best friend, Josh can sound like soooooo many different famous characters. he is SO good at changing his voice. I would look for actors who either already sound like the characters in the game, or at least can MAKE themselves sound like them! lol
I agree a hundred percent about the voices. If the Gamer Designers can find different voice actors that all sound exactly alike for the games, then I am sure filmmakers can do the same. If they’re voices sound that good, then they can PHYSICALLY ACT just as good. And yeah, Leon needs that haircut it hasn’t changed for 6 games, shouldn’t be any different in the movie. As for Efron…. believe it or not. I think I actually agree with you. Not long ago, I was with the rest of my friends make fun of him for being a little Disney fag. LOL but he’s come a long way. My ex made me go see Charlie St. Cloud with her, I left the theater saying that he is a pretty damn good actor. I thought he was going to be one of the ones who are only famous for as long as teeny boppers scream. Once they were done screaming, his career would be over, ya know what I mean? But I can definitely see him as Chris for sure. You’re right Leon and Wesker is hard. I would hold auditions for those two as well. And Mila Kunis? All I can say is…. HOT. I have a fantasy crush on that girl since I saw her in Black Swan. For some reason she didn’t appeal to me in That 70′s Show, but now… I don’t know… I am positively in love with her! hahahaha But we have completely strayed off topic here. hahahaa. well, well maybe the casting folks have finally read the book. Their choices have improved greatly. Now if they could only go back and change little choice, all would be right in the world.:)
He doesn’t look very creepy to me. I suspect that he has Native American roots, especially with his high cheekbones and his nose. I think they made a good choice and can’t wait til I see him in his Silent Brother attire. I wish they’d pick Valentine already!
Wow that guy has a huge nose, and the lighting or whatever on that photo makes him look terrifying. Seeing what the silent brothers look like is one of the things I am most excited to see, is that weird? They just sound so cool in a creepy sort of way

While we are on the subject of the” Official Mortal Instruments Movie Site” does anyone find it kind of lame?? It’s impressive when you first log on for like a second and then you realize that the pics they are using are all old and not at all how the people will look in character and it does not navigate well either. Not to mention the fact that there is no real information on it. I am sure it will get better, but I find it so funny that everyone keeps commenting on how great the site is to Cassie and on twitter and I’m like??? Really??
yeah, it’s not that awesome as far as official movie websites go. but they’re only using it right now to announce the cast (inspired, i believe, by the catching fire casting website which, even though it’s on facebook, still manages to be way cooler). i expect when they actually have footage and pictures of them in-character, that they’ll revamp it.

I just finished playing a really creepy video game. I screamed at the top of my lungs and scared the living S*** out of my mother. She thought someone broke in and was trying to rape me or something. lol No, I was playing Slender… CREEPY game! Anyways I don’t think it was a good idea for me to look at this post right after playing that game. It made me scream again. hahaha
Oh and my mother was like “Jesus Christ you scream like a girl!” I was like… okay I know I act like Darlene from Roseanne most of the time, but I am still a chick for cryin out loud! hahaha XP

LOL I think I will wait until my nerves die down from that game first. But yeah I remember Alaric, he didn’t have a huge part in the book at all, but I found myself getting attached to him anyway. Remember when Jace and Clary were in the Vampire Hotel? And the Werewolves all jumped in and wanted to take Clary. So Jace and Clary started to run and the wolves chased after them so Clary threw a dagger at one of them and it hit him in the shoulder…. later on she realizes it was Luke’s pack and it was Alaric she threw the dagger at and she was like “….yeah, Sorry about that.” lol
