Spending the day on the TMI set

Robert Sheehan walking into the set “The Institute”. I had half a mind to yell “the back of yo head is ridiculous!” but I don’t know if anyone else would get it :p

Oh ma gawsh you guisseee. I just had to drag myself out of bed to write this because I am still so exhausted from yesterday.

Where do I even begin?
I got to Toronto yesterday thinking I’d drive right to the indoor studios and try my luck. I really didn’t think I would have much to report, BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! As I was passing downtown, I decided to stop and have a look at Javajones. I drove past there and absolutely nothing was going on, but I wanted to take a picture of it for y’all. So I tried to simultaneously nagivate the pedestrian littered streets of downtown toronto – not to mention, vehicles seem to apparate right infront of you from all directions and there are stop signs/lights every 3 centimetres – all while wrestling the wrist strap of my camera and fumbling to turn it on & point it towards Javajones. ALL WHILE STILL DRIVING! Needless to say, I did not get a good snap, on the bright side however, I didn’t crash or run anybody over.

But fear not! I will be back on set many times to come (woop woop!) and I’ll get one for you then. Right around that time I got a call from my friend to meet her nearby quickly (personal stuff – nothing to do with the film) and well let’s just say GOOD FREAKIN’ THING because it was around that time that I realized they were in fact NOT filming at the indoor studios. So all of the sudden the streets of T.O turned into the indy500 racetrack and I raced to the set, probably causing a good 15 people’s lives to flash before their eyes (the walk sign was not on lady!). I met up with a bunch of die-hard fans (a bunch of whom were mentioned on twiter, if you’re interested) and now I’ll skip the boring stuffs: basically we waited hours upon hours.

There were a bunch of crew, the windows to “the institute” were covered with white screens and there was a crane outside the window, shining light on the screens to make it look like daylight inside (well, it was daylight out but I think it was more for continuity so that the view outside didn’t change from shot to shot). The A.D (assistant director) was outside, he was nice, and he’d yelling “rolling” and “cut” to us so that we knew when we could make noise or not.

Eventually I decided to wander down a side alley where all the trucks were parked and through where all the trailers were (I tell people this all the time: Act like you belong there and no one will question you!). So I go around back, see the infamous “TMI To Set —->” sign, obviously have a photoshoot with myself beside it, I saw Lily’s stand-in, and then I wandered over to the back door of “The Institute”. I really just walked right in and was hanging around in there for a while. The production crew started to get really busy moving equipment and what-not. I took a picture of these really awesome doors they built and installed as part of the set, and then after a long time I left. OH, but before not before I made sure to tweet y’all from a bathroom stall inside the institute ha! I crack myself up sometimes.

When I walked back infront, it was not 2 minutes before ROBERT Freakin’ SHEEHAN walked by! Omg guys, I was unsure about him before but he’s just so darn cute with his hair done and he’s so sweet and eeeeeeeeeeeee :D THEN KEVIN WALKED BY. Ohhhhh my he’s cute. As much as I laugh at the people who freak out over celebs, and tell myself “pshhhhh, If I ever met a celeb I’d act so calm and normal” let me be the first to admit, UM NO. I don’t know what you want to call heart palpitations and shaky hands but CALM AND NORMAL IS NOT IT. Some uber stakers (cough bassicseb and mrwillw cough) were lucky enough to be in the right place stalking  at the right time and were lucky enough to get buy cialis online autographs.

After that, Lily drove by in a Town&Country van with tinted windows, but they apparently weren’t tinted enough for mrwillw’s keen eye! He spotted her like a hawk, and bassicseb unsuccessfully chased her van down the street. It really got late and I went hours over my parking timer multiple times (I really need to thank heavens that I didn’t manage to get a ticket on either occasion) I’m pretty sure I had bags under my eyes big enough to drag on the ground (ew) so I called it a night.

BUT THAT IS NOT THE LAST THE TMI CREW WILL SEE OF HELLYJEN THOUGH, I will be back!

And with that, I leave you to enjoy a gallery of pictures I took <3 <3 <3
