Well, nothing really to say about these except why didn’t Jamie pack any other pants? And Lily we beg of you pleae burn that cami!! However I see definate tone strong arms and I think they look kinda nice And I love seeing her in flats so we can see how tall Jamie is compared to her and it looks good to me. I like everything about him besides his hair! he needs to cut it and make it look like a mix between justin bieber and harry styles? In my option his hair is way to long for jace..
I think its cute how they are hanging out together. Maybe its a publicity stunt, maybe its not. but WHO CARES! i mean seriously! It’s their lives! Maybe on the set, something sparked between them! But i dont think its fair how people are bashing them cuz they have been seen together. This could be a COMPLETE misunderstanding anyway, maybe they are just really really, good friends, maybe not. But again, does it really matter?
Anyway, i think Jamie looks really good in that shadowhunter black!
Who cares one way or the other? It’s publicity for the movie we can’t wait for. The actors are paid to promote. So, if they want to hold hands because it puts the movie in a magazine – so freakin what! It only means more people will know about it and then hopefully go see it.
But it’s made people LOSE RESPECT for them, NOT GAIN ANY.
I’ve been to countless websites and everyone is calling Jamie names because he ditched Bonnie for a movie and saying Lily’s a famewhore because she dates all her co-stars. This is the publicity they wanted? Really?
They did it horribly.

Guys, this is CLEARLY publicity for the movie. Look at the way they’re awkwardly holding hands. It’s like they realized the paps (who they most likely called) were in their faces and reached to grab each other’s hands for show.
Just look at Jamie with his other girlfriends (Bonnie and Zoe) and it was a lot more natural. Not this weird hand-holding and a foot apart thing.
I’ve really lost all respect for Jamie and Lily. But I semi expected it, as Lily Collins is sort of known for dating all her co-stars.

Because they’re doing some weird fake dating for promo. I hate actors who do that, it’s a cheap trick. TMI didn’t need it.
for some movie franchises some actors are TOLD to fake date (But not all of them)… so no need to HATE ALL actors for doing this “cheap trick”
Exactly, and Aria was one of those irritating 12 year olds who think that Production companies force two couples to break up in order to pretend to date someone else. They do not take it that far and if they did, yeah that’s effed up that someone would agree to it, but for Pete sakes people. All they’re doing is walking around holding hands. Lilly and Taylor were still together right before the DVD release of abduction… ummm… why continue dating that long? If a movie is a bust in box office then the DVD does not have a special feature or any fancy stuff because they didn’t make back the money they spent to make the film! Same thing goes for Alex Pettyfer and Diana… up until DVD release…. the movie bombed at Box office why continue to date after that? Not to mention there are still talks about why Alex and her broke up, apparently he was a very jealous guy and it drove her nuts. I just think it’s kind of… well… I don’t know…. psycho to make up a huge gigantic story that lasts for years after the film is released???? It’s just psychotic. Like Jersey said, they’ll tell them to spend A LOT of time with each other, but that’s about it. Not all co stars do this, not all Co stars even date afterwards. Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson dated during the set of Jumper…. years later…. still together…. they’re even engaged… last I heard they were still together…. I don’t know if they’re still engaged though. You can’t expect them to be perfect anyways… they’re celebrities…. whoever said being a celebrity meant you had to be a good role model??? hahaha. I mean c’mon!

Im pretty sure i never said that i thought that this was OKAY to do.. myu point was that SOME movie franchises DO have their actors fake date. (not necessarily the tmi franchise)

I’m saying I think it’s pretty obvious that’s what Jamie and Lily are doing and I think it’s tacky. It’s made me disrespect them both and the entire franchise.
Like I said earlier, there’s no way Jamie went from “heartbroken” a week ago, to dating his co-star in 5 days. So that puts it at publicity and I am just not a fan of that. Never will be.

P.S. aside by my misspelling I meant “TMI” if they’re trying to show off “Jace and Clary” here, I would be more on the rest of your sides if they already gave him a hair cut, and a wardrobe change. However, even without all that, he looks pretty convincing. It’s HER who looks nothing like her character in these photos. Dark brown hair… not red, and her clothes are nothing from what Clary would wear, I can at least somewhat see Jace looking like this, but Lilly has never been more out of character. So I seriously don’t see this as “Selling Jace and Clary” It could all be coincidence… ever thought of that? Sorry, again I really don’t mean to be a jerk, I am just bringing out a point…
Guys. I really don’t think this is for publicity. Film productions have been known to push something like this to promote a film, yes. But that does not mean that every actor agrees to it. I don’t see Jamie doing it for publicity. I can see ugly Robert Pattinson and cracked out Krosten Stewart being willing to do it, but I don’t see Jamie doing it. Not to mention they usualy dont go this far with it either! I think there is seriously something going on between the two and I think there has been since his audition. I think this is why he and Bonnie split. I think she found out and called it quits. Sorry. But enough with the gossip I think he does look great. And meh. I still wish Lilly was only 5 feet instead of a half of foot taller than Clary but mehh it’s not a big deal. Lol and Jersey maybe he likes those pants? I don’t buy their relationship it just seems like a very convenient time to start dating all of a sudden. as for rob pattinson and kristen stewart, I do buy their relationship, I do believe in it because they are not so open and in your face about it like most of hollywoods PR couples, besides it would’ve been hard for them to continue a charade for 4 years. all I see in these pics are jace and clary and that is enough for me, i don’t need to see anything else.
I agree with you Zara, I don’t buy their “relationship” either. It just seems too convenient that they’re being seen in public holding hands a MONTH before filming starts. It just screams PR ROMANCE to me.
As for Rob and Kristen, I was sceptical about their romance too, thinking it was fake, and I’ve never bought into their relationship UNTIL recently. If they’re STILL together even after BD wrapped and there’s no need for showmance, then I know it’s REAL.

No he’s MINE!” I would bring just ONE guy around my girlfriends and they all acted like lions fighting to the death for a scrap of meat. The way Lilly is presenting herself with Jamie is normal. But most men don’t touch a girl like that unless he wants to F%€&$ her! Coming from constant experience. Men DO NOT get touchy feely with you unless he likes you… So either way there’s something going on behind closed doors. As for Rob and Kristen. I only used them as an example because they both look like the white Trash couple that scream at each other all night long next door. They both annoy me. Lol
I dont think a production company has the ethical right to ask someone to act like a couple. But this is Hollywood so Im sure they’ve demanded much worse.
I just dont think Jamie would do this so quickly after breaking it off with Bonnie. Thats cold, even for a playboy millionaire. I dont know Lily that well but she doesnt seem like the type to act like her and her costar are bumping uglies just to get some free press. To me this looks like they’ve been getting to know eachother for quite sometime, away from the paps prying eyes or public scrutiny. Their body language reads comfort and familiarity. So it makes me wonder just how explosive their chemistry is going to be on screen, because that PDA looks pretty real to me.

Not to destroy your mental sweet view of Jamie or anything, but some of the nicest people make mistakes. Just because it’s a cold thing to do to move on that quickly with someone else does not mean he is not capable of doing it. And it also doesn’t mean he’s a piece of sh*t all together either. Same goes for Lilly. It doesn’t mean that he literally cheated either. He could’ve met Lilly, and their chemistry sparked and they’ve just been getting closer and closer ever since. And then finally the day came when Jamie admits he’s fallen for someone else to Bonnie. That’s not necessarily cheating, it’s falling out of love with someone. It happens. It sucks, but it happens. Also he and Bonnie could’ve called it quits as long as maybe a month ago, the news could only be leaking now. Remember that we are NOT there to witness what exactly happens, and when it happens. A lot goes on in their private life that we don’t know about because we don’t KNOW them…
To GARNER attention and interest, maybe????? And it seems to be working, too. The paps are everywhere taking pictures of them and posting them on the internet and everyone’s talking about them too.
You’re wrong, they don’t do PR romances AFTER the films come out. They do it BEFORE to create buzz for the films they’re in. Lily and Taylor Lautner, remember??? They conveniently “broke up” AFTER their flop of a movie Abduction came out. Also, Alex Pettyer abd Dianna Agron broke up shortly after their film I Am Number 4 came out. In cases of PR romance, they pretend to be in a relationship before and during the filming, and once the film comes out, they break up, cause they don’t need to pretend anymore.

I’m really starting to think that the whole hand-holding thing is solely for the movie. Think about it, they have this new franchise in their hands and they know that in order for it to work, they have to sell Jace and Clary’s intense love story. Up until now, they hardly saw each other so it’s hard to work on that. Now suddenly, it’s a month away from the start of filming and they’re spotted spending tons of time together?? I say it’s pre-production work they’re currently doing and they seem to be enjoying it

Jess: I think the random handholding is just gearing up for the role and simultaneously teasing the paps following them around (there are a ton of pics on newscom) and fans. In the candids they look more like friends then a couple to me.
Jamie and Bonnie haven’t revealed why they broke up but according to fans in the know they were drifting apart for ages and were pretty much dunzo by April-May time so they decided to split. Most people didn’t think they would last anyway as they totally rushed into the relationship and the engagement.
That sounds totally reasonable. They seemed more like friends than a couple to me too, that’s why I was also stumped on it. xD
