You know, Ive been staring at this cover for an absurd amount of time now and two things strike me. One: she looks like Anne Bolyn from BBC’s The Tudors. And two: where’s Jems ring? Maybe its a glitch in the wardrobe depatment, and Im obviously geeking out over this, but isnt she supposed to wear it while their engaged? Or do Shadowhunters wives not wear the family rings? They recieve a marital rune right?
so that is Tess on the cover? For some reason I thought it was Will’s siser?? Not sure where I got that idea but that would explain why she wasn’t wearing the ring right? Even though that wouldn’t make any sense to have her on the cover as opposed to Tess.
and duh she’s wearing the Angel necklace so I guess it’s definately not Will’s sister!

Cassie said it means nothing that she isnt wearing Jems ring and that she was holding the Shadowhunter Codex, not the Warlocks book of the white.
I totally agree that she looks like the actress from Tudors! The cover is GORGEOUS!
So beautiful. No wonder Jem and Will fell for Tess, she’s gorgeous! Imagine wearing dresses like that? Their so flattering. And I wonder if thats the Book of the White she’s holding, introduced in MI, COG? Im not sure what building that is behind her, or if its significant. Im still wondering what Tessa and that creepy guy from Yorshire has to do with eachother. Starkweather, was that his name?
Not to be a pessimist but, how do you know that this will be the best love story ever? What if there is a total twist that nobody sees coming and everyone gets screwed over? Not that I want that to happen because I absolutely love these books (that cover is so amazing! I have found my new wallpaper <3 ) but as of right now I would say that the love story is kinda sad.
