Many, many MANY people have auditioned for Simon.
I cannot tell you, like I said earlier who has auditioned for any of the roles due to union laws. Because Logan is so enormously busy, and already leads a franchise, I can say that even though we all love him (Robert, my producer, worked with him before on Three Musketeers) it would be very very very difficult to make that work. See: Fancasting, Dangers of. I’m not saying never, because I don’t have the authority or even the knowledge to say never; I’m saying if I were in a betting pool it’s not where I’d put my money. You never know, though.
Yes. I still love Cassie. I still love the movie, franchise, and director. But I’m going to go soak my heartbreak in a big ice-cold slurpee. Until there’s more news

It would have been pretty cool to see a very good-looking Jewish guy playing a very good-looking Jewish guy for once in an action movie (it would be like Twilight if Taylor Lautner was really Native American). I guess I can console myself that Logan Lerman’s role in Noah is kind of Jewish or at least Biblical.
I bet whoever they case now won’t be Jewish… or at least, unlike Lerman, not fully so…

yeah, i never really wanted logan to be simon. he’ll always be percy jackson to me– even more so now that sea of monsters is being filmed– and that’s a mental image that won’t change anytime soon, i expect. so i’m glad it’s going to be someone else, and eager to know who that person will be!
I didn’t really like him for Simon anyway. I just liked him because I think his acting would’ve done the trick. BUt as for looks I didn’t see it. So I am not too diappointed all that much really. *shrugs*
