We are ALL uber excited that the wait fot COLS is almost over!! However we would like to set a few ground rules before the book release. Actually only one that I beg of you ALL to adhere to when commenting on this site for the next couple of weeks at least!!!
Now some of you are going to download COLS immediately onto your devices, some of you are going to head to the stores and purchase your copy as soon as they place it on the shelf and some of you like myself and many othere have pre-ordered your copy online and have to wait for it to show up on your doorstep. 
There are inevitably fans who are going to consume this book the same day it releases..however,
WE DO NOT WANT THE STORY OR ANY OF THE DETAILS BEING LEAKED BEFORE WE ALL GET TO READ AND DIGEST THEM!!
WE HAVE ALL WAITED PATIENTLY AND NOT SO PATIENTLY FOR THIS RELEASE AND IT IS NOT COOL TO SPOIL IT FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO
A) HAVE TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY
B) HAVE TO GO TO WORK/SCHOOL AND CANNOT SPEND ALL DAY READING THE BOOK!!
So enjoy and soak up the Jace, Clary , Sebastian drama…and remember “play nice”

God help me Barnes & Noble did not ship today..I called customer service and they said it will ship tomorrow, so they say…I won’t even have it by this weekend!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats when you break down and download it on your ipod or Kindel. Thats what I did when Amazon let me know my book wouldnt be here until the tenth. Jerks!
I know! Sooooo sad. I kind of already knew we wouldn’t be getting ours this weekend. I mean- I know I have never pre-ordered a book before, but I order crap from the internet ALL the time! lol. And of course I always go for standard shipping cause expedite is soooo expensive. And usually the longest it takes is 2 – 3 weeks. The quickest is usually 1 week. Like, when I ordered my new Xbox a couple of months ago, I got it in a week, it went fast. Then I ordered a lousy pair of cheap headphones and it literally took about a month. Which I don’t think/and I HOPE it wont take that long for us. I think the longest we’ll wait is 2 weeks… counting the day they shipped them to the stores.
So HOPEFULLY we wont be in the dark while everyone else is all excited and happy cause they’ve read, I’ll be such a saaaad Panda. 
yeah my email showed up this morning. estimated delivery May 15th!!!!!!!!!11 That really stinks I don’t know that I would pre-order again. The only way I would do it is if they guaranteed it on your door step the day on or one day after release but next time I will drive to the store and get it myself!
*salutes* Yes, ma’am! No spoilery stuff from me. Besides, I wont have my book till tomorrow. Some call the Waaaaaambulance!

totally agree! I am from Venezuela and I do have to wait for the book order at least three days more. I do not want spoiled peopple saying everything, I have been dying for this too!

Soooo excited! I never pe-ordered a book before, so I hope it doesn’t take too long to get to me.
even when Harry Potter Book 7 came out, I went and stood in line with over 500 people at Barnes & Nobel with a couple of my friends. None of us were dressed up like the many people who were, lol but we were extremely excited. I really don’t remember how long we waited, but there were a bunch of annoying Jesus freaks with signs, and were harassing people who came out of the store with their books. It was seriously juvenile, and sick. They were throwing stuff at us, it was ridiculous. So my friend Josh threw his energy drink at one of them. He wasn’t done with it yet so it spilt all over them. He yelled “HOW DO YOU LIKE IT!?” lol My mom told him he was wrong but til this day we laugh about it. Barnes and Noble had to call the police on them, because they were getting violent with throwing crap at us. The Amendment does say, you have a right to protest UNLESS you cause any violence or riot. So they were removed by the cops, we were like “IN YOUR FACE!” lol
