“That the producer and studio begin on a sequel before the first has had a première, meaning they feel convinced that the film lives up to the expectations we have created in this important audience, and then some. That I have had an opportunity to do the sequel, is something I’m both proud and grateful for,” said Zwart to the publication.
Sony Pictures is putting great effort into the marketing of this film and I do believe that the early green light for “City of Ashes” should prove to fans how much the studio is supporting this project. ”To be allowed to participate in establishing a franchise , which they call the series of films, is something most people dream of, but few get the opportunity. So I am very excited about the opportunity I now have,”

This last 100 days can’t go by fast enough for me. This movie has been a long time coming and the wait is almost up. I know it still seems a long ways away but once the summer sets in it will be here before we know it.
